My phone is not working under warranty. How do I get it repaired?

Our wireless phones have a one year warranty.  For the first 30 days, come into the store with the box and packaging for an exchange.  After 30 days, call (866) 406-5154. The representative will trouble shoot your phone and if necessary ship a replacement.  When you receive the replacement, call the phone number in the box, (877) 807-4646, to activate the phone. Mail the broken phone back to Verizon Wireless in the provided envelope.   

 

My phone is broken/lost/stolen. How do I make an insurance claim?

To make an insurance claim, call (888) 881-2622 or go to PhoneClaim.com/Verizon. Insurance has a deductable.

 

Verizon Wireless offers my company  an employee discount. How do I receive it?

If you have access to a fax machine call (866) 456-7892 when prompted enter your fax phone number.  A discount form will be faxed to you.  Fill out the form and fax back with company ID or paystub.  If you don’t have access to a fax machine but have a work email address go to VerizonWireless.com.

 

How do I check the status of my rebate?

The easiest way is to go to verizonwireless.com/rebates.

 

How do I move a phone number into another person’s name?

The person who currently has the phone number calls (888) 832-4550 and tells the representative the name of the person they want to whom they want to release the phone number.  The person assuming responsibility calls the same phone number, (888) 832-4550, and takes responsibility for the number.

 

 

 

How do I move my phone number onto another phone?

Call *22898 from the new phone and follow the prompts.  This will move the phone number but it may also cause changes in your plan. For example it will cancel insurance.  The best way to change phones is to stop by a store.  You must be authorized on the account.  

 

How can I view my bill in detail?

Go to VerizonWireless.com and register your account.  You will be able to look at a detailed bill on line.

 

How many minutes did I use?

Call #MIN from your mobile phone.

 

How many text messages, picture messages, video messages and megabytes did I use?

Call #DATA from your mobile phone.

 

How much is my bill?

Call #BAL from your mobile phone.

 

How do I pay a bill?

You can pay your bill through your phone by calling #PMT.  Payments can be made by credit/debit card or check. A payment can be made at Go Wireless however there will be a $3.00 processing fee.

 

How can I back up my contacts?

Back up Assistant is a program you can download to your phone that will back up your contacts to the network.   If you register your account with Verizonwireless.com the program is free, otherwise the service is $1.99/month. 

 

 

How do I access voice mail?

Call *86 from your mobile phone.

 

How do I check voice mail from another phone?

Call your mobile phone number, interrupt the greeting with the # key, and enter your password.

 

How do I reset my voice mail password?

Call *611 from your wireless phone and choose the reset voice mail password option.
